Then she says she's too much like Riley so she "changes" to her old style that really isn't different in the first place. She bonded with Shawn because he said she should dress differently so she does but not in such a noticable way that it isn't her style. I didn't think the clothing thing was significant enough to the character and the arc with it didn't make much sense. She had no interest in Lucas and perusing him or allowing him to pursue her knowing Riley already had feelings for him showed her to be a terrible friend (and Lucas to be a terrible love interest). I did think she looked like what Corey and Topanga's daughter would look like though so I think they did her character a real injustice. I thought it was weird that they tried to play the Minkus vs Topanga grade thing again with Riley and Farkle for one episode then had another where she totally fails basic spanish and otherwise never seems put together in academics. Naive is one thing but she was on a whole different plane.

Like, there was something really weird about how they wrote her character. Did he not read the names of the kids in his classroom? He was way too hyper in the beginning and his character change was too drastically quick.

How did Corey not know Farkle was Minkus' son? The kid's name is Farkle Minkus.
